Making your own fonts

     Sangband includes a collection of customized bitmap fonts, a collection which began as a contribution to the Xchar Project, a patch to provide extended characters (such as accents) for Angband. If you want to make your own fonts, the Xchar web page includes links to various font-making resources and how-tos.

Taking screenshots

     As in most Angband variants, you can take screenshots by typing ')' within the game. In the Windows and SDL ports, you can also take graphical screenshots at any moment (even when being breathed on) by hitting the Print Screen key. See this page for tips on making graphical screenshots look good.

Printable list of commands

     Mikko Lehtinen has created a convenient cheatsheet for commonly-used commands; it's in .pdf format, so you can make a 1-page printout and refer to it as needed. This file is included with most releases; if yours doesn't have it, here it is.
